Janet Jackson made an exception to sit front row during Haider Ackermann‘s runway show in the City of Light earlier today.
The 49-year-old appeared to be in good spirits as she greeted her longtime designer pal backstage shortly after he presented his collection.
The Grammy winner donned an all-black ensemble for the event, and stayed bundled up in a knit beanie and scarf.
Earlier this year, the singer slammed reports that she had been diagnosed with cancer after she announced that she was undergoing surgery for a mystery illness.
“Remember…believe it when you hear it from my lips. The rumors are untrue. I do not have cancer. I’m recovering.”
She continued in the Twitter message, “My doctors have approved my concert as scheduled in Europe, and as I promised, the postponed shows will be rescheduled. Thank you for your prayers and love.”
At the end of 2015, Jackson broke the news to her fans that she had to postpone her tour after doctors’ orders, saying, “Hey you guys…Happy holidays to each and every one of you. I need you to know, I learned today, from my doctors that I must have surgery soon.
“It breaks my heart to tell you that I am forced to postpone the Unbreakable Tour until the spring. Every date will be rescheduled. Please hold on to your ticket. They will be honored in a special way when the new schedule is announced. Please pray for me, my family and our entire company during this difficult time.”
