Chance The Rapper is keeping to his vows of giving back to the community, and on his 24th birthday celebration at Studio Paris nightclub he did exactly that.
According to Complex, the Chicago rapper put on his “Chance The Birthday,” event this past Sunday (April 16th) to help benefit his non-profit organization Social Works. General admission tickets and VIP ticket prices ranged from $100 to $2,500.
The price seemed a bit expensive for his fans, but they still turned up to celebrate him which helped him raise over $100,000 for charity.
Chance The Rapper performed for his fans and also surprised them with guest performances from T-Pain and Ludacris.
Chance The Rapper’s Social Work organization mission is “to empower the youth through arts, education, and civic engagement while fostering leadership, accessibility, and positivity within the youth throughout Chicago.”
Chance took everyone by surprised earlier this year as he made headlines and received praises for donating $1 million to a Chicago Public School.
